Hotel Accommodations
Hotel room blocks will be open beginning August 1, 2007. SECO encourages attendees to stay at an affiliated hotel and take advantage of negotiated discounted rates, so that costs are kept low for all SECO 2008 attendees. Published hotel rates are effective beginning August 1, 2007, and will be available until the listed cut-off date or until the room block sells out, whichever occurs first.
Attendees must arrange all reservations with the hotel of their choice. Hotels affiliated with SECO 2008 listed below offer discounted rates to attendees who identify themselves as attending SECO 2008.
Atlanta is a large convention city. Hotel accommodations vary in cost, location and availability. And, these are often impacted by other concurrent events. Please reserve your hotel room early, as accommodations may become fully booked weeks before the published cut-off dates. Don't forget to make a note of your confirmation number.
For your convenience, SECO International has published direct links on this page to allow you to make reservations online at the affiliate hotel of your choice. Alternatively, you may wish to call the hotel directly or use their main reservation number to arrange your accommodations. All transactions with the hotel are the responsibility of the guest. SECO International assumes no liability for errors or omissions regarding reservations of, or payment for, accommodations occupied by attendees.

Travel
Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport
Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) is widely considered one of the busiest airports in the world. SECO encourages attendees to visit www.atlanta-airport.com to learn more about transportation services to and from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Taxi fare to the Omni from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is approximately $32 plus tax one-way for one passenger, and about $18 per person plus tax for two passengers. Airport shuttle buses leave the airport every 20 minutes and serve all major hotels in downtown Atlanta; one-way fare is approximately $16.50 per person.
The Metropolitan Atlanta Rail and Transit Authority (MARTA), departs from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport every few minutes. MARTA passengers may purchase a Breeze Card and one-way fare for $1.75 (Breeze Cards not included in fare price). MARTA serves the Marriott from exit N1 of the North/South rail, Peachtree Center Station. MARTA serves the Omni from exit W1 of the East/West rail, CNN Center, Philips Arena, Georgia Dome Station. SECO 2008 Shuttle Service
SECO International provides complimentary shuttle service between affiliate hotels and the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) and Omni Hotel at CNN Center. Shuttle service runs continuously on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday between affiliate hotels and the Omni/GWCC. SECO recommends that attendees allow at least 15 minutes to travel from affiliate hotels to the GWCC and Omni to ensure on-time arrival for courses.
Note: Since the Embassy Suites is located next to the GWCC — no shuttle service will be provided.
